Organisation Development - Case Study
Claviga were called on by an international theme park company who had decided they needed to merge two sales and marketing departments. These were located in the same country but each selling their own product - in many cases to the same customer. This caused confusion in the market as well as duplication of effort and mixed messages. Our task was to help them manage the change and create a 'one face' for their customers.
Claviga facilitated their senior management team through the process. We assessed what they already had, what was duplicated, how their processes worked and what common areas existed - ultimately creating a new organisation that worked coherently and seamlessly while still encompassing all the elements and specialisations from both teams and protecting jobs across both locations.
Once the creation phase was complete, Claviga helped to implement and take the new ways of working forward, acting as advisor and consultant throughout the process to its successful conclusion.
The result was a more efficient, more customer focused organisation.
